Job summary

AWS Professional Services seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant to lead design, migration, and modernization of complex cloud infrastructures for enterprise clients in the Houston area. You will drive architecture discussions, guide implementation, and ensure best practices across the project lifecycle.

In this role you will travel to client locations, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor teams while delivering secure, scalable AWS solutions that meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud-based solution experience including design, migration, and modernization.
• 3+ years of customer-facing work engaging with executives or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
• Experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (mainframe, serverless, containers, or cloud operations).
• Strong understanding of security, compliance standards, and best practices in cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
