Job summary

Apexon is hiring a Senior Cloud IT Support I for a remote role. This position focuses on cloud operations across AWS and GCP, automation, and GenAI/LLMs, with a preference for candidates holding a Public Trust clearance.

The ideal candidate will support automation initiatives and manage customer support tickets efficiently. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and proven experience in cloud engineering, IaC, and cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Cloud engineering experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Cloud operations automation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud operations issues and manage customer support requests.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions to streamline cloud operations.
• Execute day to day cloud operations tasks across supported cloud environments.
• Support cloud engineering activities involving AWS and GCP.
• Assist with automation initiatives involving IaC and GenAI/LLM technologies.
• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve customer support tickets related to cloud operations.
• Track support requests and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Follow established cloud operations procedures and support processes.
• Customer support tickets handled and resolved according to established support procedures.
• Cloud operations tasks completed efficiently.
• Automation solutions developed to support cloud operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud IT Support I professional with knowledge of cloud engineering, AWS, GCP, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation. The ideal candidate will support cloud operations, develop automation solutions, complete operational tasks, and manage customer support tickets efficiently.
