Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure. You will own IaC across GCP and AWS, build automation, and lead SRE for internal platform services, including observability and incident response.

You will collaborate across Platform, IT, InfoSec, and product engineering to set standards, define architecture, and mentor teams while maintaining strong English communication in a 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or site reliability engineering.
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code on GCP and AWS (Terraform, OpenTofu, or Terragrunt).
• Background in site reliability engineering for internal platform services, incl. observability, incident response, RCA.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with identity and access infrastructure, Keycloak and FreeIPA, plus Okta/SCIM/OIDC/SAML.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platform infra.
• Strong written communication and ability to drive cross-organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure as code across GCP and AWS using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Terragrunt.
• Build reusable patterns and automation enabling safe self-service for engineers.
• Own SRE for internal platform services: observability, incident response, RCA.
• Establish SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and operational standards for internal services.
• Diagnose and maintain identity and access infra (Keycloak, FreeIPA).
• Build infrastructure tooling and automation in Python or Go.
• Operate Kubernetes and related cloud platform infra.
• Lead architecture decisions across Platform, Systems, IT, InfoSec and product engineering; produce runbooks and standards.
