Job summary

JPMorganChase within Corporate Technology’s Enterprise Architecture team seeks a Senior Lead Architect to drive target state architecture and global solutions. You influence executives, lead governance, and oversee platform design, development, testing, and operational stability for large consumer populations.

The role emphasizes cloud, security, resiliency, and regulatory alignment, with a focus on cost-efficient, scalable solutions across enterprise portfolios.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud and infrastructure domains: compute, storage, networking, cloud, virtualization, security, resiliency, and automation.
• Demonstrated ability and knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts and practices, including SLA/OKR measurements.
• Demonstrated observability knowledge (Open Telemetry, distributed tracing) and resiliency metrics.
• Proven experience communicating and driving change across architecture disciplines (business, information, tech, data, application).
• Experience delivering shared platform design, development, testing, and operational stability for large-scale populations.
• Ability to evaluate technologies to fulfill business goals and target state architecture.
• Ability to embed regulatory, risk, and control requirements into infrastructure architecture with audit-ready evidence.

Responsibilities

• Advise executives and stakeholders, guiding architecture review boards for IT infrastructure tools.
• Serve as SME on IT Cloud & Infrastructure across applications, hosting, networking, and integration.
• Translate complex tech issues for leadership to enable strategic decisions on target state architecture.
• Drive adoption of modern technical methods aligned with product development practices.
• Lead governance body for architecture with compliance and change traceability.
• Create durable, reusable software frameworks to improve velocity and quality across teams.
• Evaluate current and emerging technologies to best support the future state architecture.
• Lead PoCs for emerging tech and vendors, advise on budgeting and cost savings.
