Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Boston to design, deploy, and optimize Azure cloud environments. You will drive infrastructure strategy, security, and operational excellence while collaborating across architecture and engineering teams.

The role focuses on hybrid work, Azure networking, AVD, IAM, and automation using Terraform/Ansible, with opportunities to accelerate AI initiatives and platform integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Expertise in Azure networking, DNS, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, and Conditional Access.
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Exposure to AI platforms or enterprise AI initiatives is desirable.

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a leading Boston-based organization seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT Engineering & Architecture team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving cloud transformation, automation initiatives, and the integration of emerging AI technologies across the enterprise.

In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimize modern cloud environments while helping advance infrastructure strategy, security, and operational excellence.

Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in downtown Boston)

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, deploy, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and networking solutions
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), DNS, connectivity, and cloud services
• Lead identity and access management initiatives utilizing Entra ID, SSO, and Conditional Access
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python
• Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Collaborate on enterprise AI initiatives, agentic workflows, and platform integrations
• Strengthen cloud governance, disaster recovery, security, and operational resilience
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to drive modernization efforts and technical innovation
