Job summary

NEXT is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst to enhance the FinOps practice with a focus on Microsoft Azure. You will design financial governance policies, drive cost optimization, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, finance and procurement to manage cloud investments.

You will build dashboards in Power BI to visualize spending and support budgeting and forecasting. The role emphasizes training teams to improve financial governance and evaluating FinOps maturity for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• FinOps Certification and understanding of core FinOps principles.
• Azure Cost Management and Infracost experience with cloud cost controls.
• Data modeling and reporting with Power BI and Google Sheets.
• Automation and scripting for cost monitoring (PowerShell).
• Strong collaboration across engineering, DevOps, finance and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop FinOps frameworks and cost governance policies across teams.
• Drive cost optimization in Azure services and usage tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed FinOps into workflows.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for spending visibility.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and Azure spend forecasts with finance.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and applying financial governance policies, processes, and frameworks to optimize cloud investments, ensuring they provide significant value and efficiency. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, DevOps, finance, and procurement, to promote financial accountability and effectively manage the cloud environment.
