Job summary

Tractian is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Atlanta to strengthen cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and observability. You will own infrastructure on AWS and OCI with GPU workloads and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes expertise, Terraform/Helm, and advanced monitoring using Datadog, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Collaboration across teams is essential for robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and OCI; familiarity with GCP/Azure preferred.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Docker and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and secure scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, OCI, with occasional GCP/Azure work.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and AWS ECS, including GPU workloads.
• Embed security measures and advance observability with Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Sentry.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive secure, efficient development practices.
• Address vulnerabilities and security incidents promptly; manage migrations AWS EKS to OCI.
