Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions is seeking a Sr. Technology Engineer – Operations & Observability to architect and support cloud-native apps in Azure and AWS, focusing on observability, reliability, and automation.

Hybrid role based in Deerfield Beach, FL, collaborating with operations, monitoring, and security teams. Responsibilities include building applications, automating workflows, and refining alerting using Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and other tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering with a developer-first approach.
• Proficiency in integrating Generative AI tools into the development lifecycle.
• Strong scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms including Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring platforms — SolarWinds, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar.
• Modern GitHub Dev workflow experience — branches, PRs, CI/CD pipeline management.
• Strong incident and event management practices including alert triage, escalation, and ops collaboration.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy cloud-native applications within Azure and AWS environments.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate script development and automate resiliency workflows.
• Optimize observability platforms to enhance signal quality and reduce alert fatigue.
• Own the full application lifecycle from design and CI/CD through production support.
• Build and manage automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash in a GitHub Dev workflow.
• Support hybrid environments including Azure Monitor and Log Analytics integrations.
• Assist with event management workflows to ensure actionable alerts and correct routing.
• Collaborate with platform owners, operations, monitoring, and security teams.
• Contribute to runbooks, docs, and operational improvements with high-impact wins.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and on-call rotations as needed.
