Job summary

Pegasus Knowledge Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to help modernize cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure and AWS, IaC, and Terraform modules. The role is highly architectural, with design, review, and enablement responsibilities and limited hands-on work.

You will build patterns, document workflows for MSP handoff, and ensure scalable infrastructure for API workloads and Kubernetes platforms, including potential AKS/EKS migrations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure & AWS cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform (module design, best practices).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Packer is a plus.
• 8-10+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing Terraform modules, GitHub/GitHub Actions pipelines, and IaC workflows.
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions and create documentation for MSP handoff.
• Support upcoming internal applications and API workloads by ensuring infrastructure health and scalability.
• Review and stabilize a vendor‑built Kubernetes environment; assess potential migration to AKS/EKS.
• Build foundational IaC and pipeline patterns in Azure; assist with future AWS expansion.
