KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Senior Engineer II to build cloud-native apps and data-driven solutions. You will work on full stack development with Java/Spring Boot, Azure, Kubernetes and modern databases to deliver scalable systems for airline industry clients.

The role emphasizes SDLC mastery, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures, with a focus on security, performance, and enterprise growth. Join a team that values collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering with full stack SDLC exposure.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot background for enterprise apps.
• Experience in airline industry is preferred or understanding of operations.
• Cloud-native development with Azure, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Database experiences: PostgreSQL, Databricks, Data Lake, ADX.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and customers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise services using domain-driven design and TDD.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust fixes.
• Create detailed project specs, requirements and estimates.
• Research new tech to improve security, performance and processes.
• Adhere to coding standards and security guidelines with architects.
