Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering; 4+ years on Microsoft Azure.
• Terraform expert; authored and maintained production Terraform modules.
• Databricks administration: Unity Catalog, account/workspace administration, policy and cost governance.
• Technical partnership experience with adjacent teams to translate requests into platform solutions.
• Deep Azure Networking & Security knowledge: VNets, private endpoints, RBAC, Key Vault.
• Data Lake architecture with ADLS Gen2; storage, namespace, ACLs, encryption.
• Azure Data Factory platform experience: IRs, VNet, credentials, deployment automation.
• Automation and scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash for tooling.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain Terraform modules provisioning the Azure data estate (Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Data Factory, Key Vault, networking, ML).
• Design private networking and security posture; manage endpoints, hub-spoke topology, RBAC, secret scopes.
• Own ADLS Gen2 infrastructure and storage architecture, lifecycle policies, encryption, access controls.
• Oversee ADF platform operations: IR provisioning, VNet, credentials, deployment automation; CI/CD alignment.
• Provide Azure ML workspace and compute infrastructure support; manage quotas and model serving endpoints.
• Build observability and reliability with monitoring, logs, alerts; FinOps and capacity planning.
• Lead cost visibility and optimization; tag strategies, budget alerts, reserved capacity.
• Set CI/CD and environment management standards across dev/test/prod.
