Job summary

Availity is seeking a Cloud Engineer IV (Senior) to own and improve AWS cloud platforms. You will provision infrastructure with Terraform/Terragrunt, run EKS/Kubernetes workloads, and strengthen observability with dashboards and runbooks.

The role is remote-first across the US and requires hands-on expertise and collaboration with Cloud Architects and Security. Join a fast-moving team building scalable, reliable cloud services, mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision, operate, and improve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, CloudFormation, and approved automation patterns.
• Administer and troubleshoot AWS EKS/Kubernetes environments, including cluster health and workloads.
• Develop and maintain scripts, CI/CD workflows, and automation to reduce manual effort and strengthen production support.
• Improve observability with dashboards, alerts, logs, and runbooks for production services.
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and post-incident improvements.
