DCCA is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Maryland. You will lead systems engineering for cloud integrations and serve as the AWS SME, shaping infrastructure planning, scaling, and monitoring. You will drive CI/CD adoption and educate teams on AWS workflows.

Qualifications

• 9+ years supporting information systems.
• At least 5 years experience in implementing the Amazon services in various project/domains.
• AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Container technologies
• Deployment & Management (Jenkins, CloudFormation)
• Compute & Networking
• Amazon ECS, CloudWatch, Gateway (NAT)
• Working experience with Cloud Computing Models - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
• Master in Understanding Public and Private Clouds - On-premise Private Cloud, Externally-Hosted Private Cloud
• Specialist with AWS deployment experience using scripts (AWS CLI)
• Implementation knowledge of engineering practices across the phases of SDLC
• Hands-on experience in Linux administration to troubleshoot issues
• Administration of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Sonarqube, GitHub, Jenkins

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud integrations.
• Be the subject matter expert on AWS and systems engineering.
• Responsible for infrastructure planning, scaling and monitoring process implementation.
• Educate teams on technical and workflow considerations of AWS adoption.
• Be responsible for CI/CD implementation using SCM tools.
• Implement different components of infrastructure (Monitoring, Logs Management, Consolidation tools).
