Job summary

Kunai is leading a high-visibility migration project for fintech clients, requiring seasoned DevOps minds to modernize and secure complex cloud environments. You will collaborate with Senior DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects to drive production readiness and scalable outcomes.

You will design resilient systems, implement IaC across Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK, and help evolve the existing ARGO-driven CI/CD pipelines, while scripting in Python or Bash for automation and configuration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven track record in Production Readiness & Operations.
• Experience designing resilient systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Familiarity with CI/CD reconfiguration using Argo.
• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Docker).
• Experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with service configuration and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of Senior DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects on a high-visibility migration project.
• Design and implement resilient cloud architectures and deployment automation.
• Contribute to modernizing infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD improvements.
• Configure security groups, networking, and inter-account access as needed.
• Ensure production readiness, monitoring, and incident response readiness.

You’ll join a team of Senior DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects, working on a highly visible, transformational migration project in a cutting-edge fintech environment.

You have:

• 5+ yrs experience with public cloud providers, e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Tangible history with DevOps tools, beyond using buzzwords, focusing on Production Readiness & Operations.
• Experience designing resilient systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
• Embracing existing proprietary CI/CD pipeline reconfiguration (ARGO)
• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Docker) Experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash)
• Experience with service configuration and deployment automation
• Configuring Security Groups
• Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics. Individuals who lack a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have demonstrated three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience with DevOps tools and cloud environments for each missing year of college in addition to the five (5) years of experience required.
