Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and maintain scalable Azure/AWS infrastructure, implement IaC and CI/CD automation, and ensure secure, resilient operations across cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IT infrastructure, 5+ years in cloud IaaS/PaaS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and strong scripting; initial 90 days on site with some WFH thereafter, in Tampa, Camas, or Plano.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience across Azure/AWS cloud services.
• 5+ years building and managing IaaS/PaaS on Azure/AWS.
• 4+ years of IaC using Terraform, reusable modules, and CI/CD.
• 2 years hands-on Kubernetes and container workloads.
• Knowledge of AI platforms like Microsoft Azure AI or similar cloud AI services.
• Cloud security and governance: Defender for Cloud, landing zones, identity governance, secret management.
• Strong networking knowledge (DNS, routing, firewalls, private access).
• Scripting and automation of builds and workflows.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Client: Wealth Management

Position: Senior Cloud Engineer

Pay:$140K - $160K with 10%-20% Bonus

Locations: - First 90 days on site with 75 days a year afterwards or about 1 day a week WFH. The locations are only Tampa, FL - Camas, WA or Plano, TX

Work Authorization: ONLY USC or GC Permanent Residence - NO OTHER VISA WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Scope: The Azure Cloud Engineer will maintain the operational Azure cloud environment, perform infrastructure deployments and ensure the production environment is operating securely and efficiently using automation tools.

Certification: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert cloud certification or equivalent certification

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure cross platform technology areas, with implementing and maintaining expertise of Azure/AWS cloud services.
• 5+ years of experience building, deploying and managing IaaS and PaaS services on Microsoft Azure/AWS platform.
• 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including building reusable modules, managing state, and promoting infrastructure changes through automated CI/CD pipelines.
• 2 years of hands-on experience on Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Knowledge on AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI or similar cloud-based AI services
• Hands-on experience implementing Cloud security and governance controls, including Cloud Platform Policy, Defender for Cloud, secure landing zones, identity governance, secret management and compliance enforcement.
• Strong working networking knowledge (DNS, routing, firewalls, and private access)
• Scripting and automation of builds, workflows, tasks and other integration aspects
• Linux and Microsoft Windows server administration
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling for routine operation tasks
• Deploy enterprise scaled cloud resources that can be used across technology organizations using code
• Develop, implement and maintain scalable, AI infrastructure on Cloud Platform
• Implement and suggest strategies in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, develop tooling and associated processes for applying automated, faster, efficient, and consistent error-free deployments
• Use configuration management and automated deployment tools to provide cloud-based solutions and services ensuring best practices
• Work with solution architects, tech leads and partners to confirm developed solutions align with existing standards, meet security controls and meet cloud computing best practices
• Provide international and 24/7 support at on-call duties and working a flexible off-hours schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance
