Job summary

Aderant in Atlanta is seeking a Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineer to mature DevOps processes and automation across its global suite of products, with focus on reliability, scalability, and security.

You will work with Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability tools to improve uptime and delivery times, while aligning with SOC 2 standards and cost governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud/DevOps platform engineering and architecture.
• Kubernetes at scale and certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to architecture, design, and support of cloud products.
• Mature DevOps processes and automation across multi-cluster Kubernetes.
• Improve CI/CD, monitoring, and security posture for SOC2 alignment.
• Cost management and infrastructure automation with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the architecture, solution design, implementation, and/or support of Aderant’s Cloud Products andOfferings
• Consultant and trusted advisor to Senior Managementfor cloudarchitecture and strategy
• Guidance and hands‑on contribution to maturing DevOps processes and automation
• Infrastructure deployment and automation with Terraform and CloudFormation
• Expansionandadvancementofmulti-clusterKubernetesecosystem
• Improving CI/CD processes with automation, validation, and monitoring
• Cost management through architecture insight and operational oversight
• Ensure security posture meets SOC2 standards
• Maturingmonitoringstrategy,includingalerting, andimproved responsiveness
• Develop andmaintaindocumentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures
• Bring existing industry knowledge and best practices to implement and improve the DevOps posture at scale for the organization
• ImprovingIncident Response processesthroughhands‑on work and automation

Qualifications:

• 5+years of experience in a Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineeringrole
• Computer Science or Engineeringor equivalent experience
• Kubernetes skills, especially at scale(CertifiedKubernetesAdministratoror CertifiedKubernetesApplicationDevelopercertifications a plus)
• DevOps and CI/CD tools experience (e.g. – GitHubActions, Azure DevOps, etc.)including deployments to Kubernetes clusters and VMs
• Expertisein AWSand Azure,especiallycompute, networking, storage, identity, and cost management
• ProficiencyinPythonor Go,andscripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
• Hands on Observabilitytooling experience (Grafana,Datadog, Azure Monitor, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Codetools(Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experiencewith AI tools, suchasClaudeCode,ChatGPT,Cursor,orCoPilot
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Innovativethinkerwith strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team-oriented environment
