Job summary

Supreme Staffing seeks an experienced Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to work on-site in Beavercreek, Ohio, supporting a classified Azure Government environment. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop environments to power mission-critical operations.

The candidate should have hands-on IaC with Bicep or Terraform, experience with AVD, and a strong automation mindset, including Packer-based golden images and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience in a classified Azure environment or AirGapped network.
• Hands-on experience deploying Azure infrastructure via Bicep or Terraform.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience building golden images with Packer and rotating them via automated pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure resources via Infrastructure as Code using Bicep; JSON, YAML, and PowerShell.
• Provision and maintain core Azure resources: storage, Key Vault, VMs, VNets, subnets, NSGs.
• Maintain DoD security baselines in repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments: host pools, app groups, workspaces.
• Build and rotate golden images with Packer via automated pipelines.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infra provisioning and app delivery.
• Troubleshoot deployment and operational issues in Azure environments.
• Coordinate with onsite and remote teams for configuration handoffs.
• Develop automation to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability.
• Scale infrastructure to meet evolving workload and performance requirements.
