Job summary

Spruce Infotech in Chicago, IL seeks a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Scrum team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

You’ll manage Docker/Kubernetes deployments, IaC with Terraform, and ensure reliable monitoring. On-site 3 days/week in Chicagoland. You’ll collaborate across offshore teams and multiple domains to align automation with security and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in DevOps/Software Engineering with distributed teams.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills: Python/Go/Java/Bash.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and other tools.
• Manage containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; monitor and log system health.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and cross-functional domains to deliver secure software.
