Job summary

Nuix is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer for its Reston, VA team. You will lead deployment of Nuix solutions in cloud and on‑prem environments, coordinating with customer and internal teams to deliver robust, secure implementations.

You will design and deploy in Windows, Linux and Kubernetes, using IaC tools like Terraform and Helm, while building repeatable patterns and runbooks for faster future work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar experience.
• Hands-on Windows and Linux administration, including AD and Linux basics.
• Deployment and management in Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Networking, TLS, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, load balancers knowledge.
• SAN storage and file share configuration experience.
• Security best practices and customer security requirements.
• SSO/IAM integration with SAML2.0, OAuth/OIDC, LDAP/AD.
• Scripting in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation across AWS, Azure, private cloud, and on-premises.
• Deploy and configure Nuix apps in Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Build repeatable deployments using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Helm.
• Configure storage, SAN, and file access; ensure security controls and SSO.
• Troubleshoot multi-tier issues; establish monitoring and observability.
• Create runbooks, deployment patterns, and architectural roadmaps.
• Present designs to customer boards; collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering.
• Mentor engineers and raise implementation practices.
