Job summary

Red River is seeking a Senior Cloud Deployment Engineer to lead delivery of IaaS, platform, and hybrid cloud solutions for RRPS customers. You will guide migration projects across Azure and AWS, design secure architectures, and drive modernization initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, develop automation frameworks using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and CloudFormation, and serve as a trusted advisor for clients adopting cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing Azure environments.
• 3+ years AWS multi-cloud deployments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem connectivity.
• Proven automation with IaC tools.
• Strong security, governance, and DR practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure deployment projects across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable cloud architectures.
• Assess customer cloud readiness and develop migration roadmaps.
• Implement and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises datacenters and cloud.
• Design and implement cloud networking solutions, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, VPCs, Virtual Networks, routing, and segmentation.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate cloud deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
• Implement cloud security controls, monitoring, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance solutions.
• Collaborate with Cloud Practice Architects to develop and deliver new multi-cloud service offerings.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support for junior implementation personnel.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to cloud best practices and standards.
