Job summary

Nimble Gravity, LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions. You will build robust data pipelines, optimize workflows, and ensure reliability of the client’s cloud data platform.

Responsibilities include leading a team, developing data transformations, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. Strong Azure, Spark, and ETL/ELT expertise are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience focusing on cloud-based solutions.
• Strong Azure architecture and hands-on service experience.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
• Leadership experience and mentoring junior engineers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data pipelines to collect, process, transform, and load data into the cloud platform.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to ensure scalability and performance of pipelines.
• Develop complex data transformation logic for analytics and reporting.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
• Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Stay current with cloud tech trends and data engineering practices.
