Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Design Manager to lead the end-to-end design lifecycle for Oracle Cloud data center projects. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, network, and systems teams to ensure performance, reliability, and operability while guiding design reviews and engineering alignment across the program.

You will represent the Engineering organization in cross-functional forums, communicate complex tradeoffs to executives, and travel to sites to support field

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle for Oracle Cloud data center critical infrastructure.
• Partner with mechanical, electrical, controls, network, and systems teams to meet performance and operability requirements.
• Represent the Engineering organization in cross-functional forums and drive alignment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership for data-driven decisions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, consultants, construction partners, and vendors.
• Provide design oversight during pre-construction, construction, and QA/QC phases.
• Travel to data center sites 10–25% to support field execution and issue resolution.
• Lead design reviews, value engineering, and technical due diligence with stakeholders.
