Job summary

ElevationHR is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across cloud, data, and analytics initiatives in Houston. The role requires 5+ years of architecture experience and 3+ years of hands-on GCP work, with a strong software background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional solution architecture experience with ownership of complex solutions.
• 3+ years hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Strong software engineering background with understanding of application architecture.
• Experience collaborating across cloud, software, data, analytics, and infrastructure teams.
• Proven ability to drive architecture decisions and coordinate implementation.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for cloud, software, data, and analytics initiatives.
• Translate enterprise platform architecture and business objectives into actionable designs, integration patterns, and delivery plans.
• Design and guide solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Partner with software engineers, data engineers, data analysts, and platform engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Drive architectural decisions, manage dependencies, evaluate trade-offs, and advance delivery workstreams.
• Collaborate with business leaders and external partners to align technology with objectives.
• Evaluate scalability, reliability, security, and integration requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to cloud and data modernization initiatives with Databricks and AI capabilities.
