Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking a senior data analyst to conduct complex data analyses, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to influence operational decisions.

You will develop core metrics, work with data engineers, and validate data with quality analysts to ensure accurate reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's in information systems or business management, 8+ years in data analysis and 2+ years with Snowflake/AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or business management required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, requirements gathering and conducting quality assurance preferably in financial institutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience on working with Cloud based data solution ( Snowflake and AWS)
• Strong knowledge of data requirements, databases, reporting and data preparation tools.
• Strong knowledge of data management concepts including metadata, data quality, data lineage and Governance.
• Thorough understanding of business processes and data methodology.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work with all management levels.
• Experience using A.I. tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex data analysis in support of analytic solutions; interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
• Develop metrics associated with core data analysis, showing how better data management improves business value.
• Collaborate with business and technical partners to understand and evaluate requirements regarding data and present data effectively.
• Work closely with Data Engineers & Data Modelers during project development.
• Coordinate with Quality analysts for data validation per project requirements.
• Analyze data from legacy systems and determine integration into Snowflake Data warehouse.
• Identify opportunities to analyze data to help business teams make data-driven decisions.
• Document data dictionaries, relationships, mappings, and data flows/data lineage as per standards.
• Identify data quality improvements and collaborate remediation with business teams.
• Communicate with organizational units on data issues and opportunities.
