Job summary

You will design automated recovery capabilities, implement immutable storage, air-gapped vaults, and recovery orchestration to protect against ransomware and outages. You will partner with Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, and Disaster Recovery teams to ensure critical services remain recoverable and validated, while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in backup engineering, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.

Responsibilities

• Engineer highly available, secure, automated recovery capabilities to protect against cyber threats.
• Define and measure SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for backup and recovery services.
• Develop IaC and Recovery as Code automation using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, and Disaster Recovery teams to ensure recoverability.
• Plan cyber recovery exercises, air-gapped vaults, isolated recovery environments (IRE), and DR testing.
