Job summary

Smart Tech Skills LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead cloud computing initiatives and IT modernization for a large-scale data center program. You will design cloud infrastructure, drive transformation, and collaborate with architecture, delivery, and business teams in an agile environment.

The role requires deep expertise across cloud providers, IaC, containerization, DevOps, security, and data governance, with a focus on scalable, compliant enterprise

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with computer systems, IT equipment, programming languages, hardware/software, and operating systems.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud technologies and analytical services from major cloud providers.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud delivery models (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS).
• 7+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and ceremonies.
• 7+ years of experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP cloud-based services.
• Experience with cloud DevOps principles (CI/CD), containerization, microservices, and Kubernetes deployment/scaling/maintenance.
• Experience with cloud-based network design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic efforts supporting both project delivery and steady-state cloud operations.
• Develop architectural blueprints, network topologies, and technical specifications aligning business requirements with appropriate cloud services.
• Serve as lead cloud engineer defining, guiding, and delivering technology initiatives.
• Perform advanced systems analysis, including planning, requirements assessment, and identification of system improvements.
• Support transitions from on-premises environments to public, private, or hybrid cloud platforms.
