Job summary

Maximus is looking for a Lead Cloud Architect to design and oversee enterprise-scale multi-cloud environments in San Antonio, Texas. This hybrid position requires a Secret security clearance and offers a salary range of $170,000.00 – $190,000.00. You will lead the technical vision and ensure alignment with Government strategies and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in cloud solutions, holds relevant cloud architect certifications, and possesses skills in hybrid networking, DevSecOps, and architecture documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 8+ years enterprise architecture and cloud solutions experience.
• Experience designing DoD reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for enterprise cloud architecture.
• Design and govern multi-cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GovCloud).
• Lead implementation of disaster recovery architectures.

Skills

Cloud architect certification (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Expertise in hybrid/multi-cloud networking

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies

Strong engagement and executive-level technical communication
