Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior AWS Architect to own the AWS Landing Zone architecture using Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and Transit Gateway. You will design scalable, cost-efficient, cloud-native enterprise solutions and author enterprise-grade IaC modules with CloudFormation under a GitOps model.

Responsibilities include securing CI/CD pipelines with policy-as-code, implementing disaster recovery designs, and mentoring engineering teams while driving platform standards and measurable

Qualifications

• BS-level technical degree required; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred.
• 10+ years progressive IT/Software Development experience.
• 7+ years enterprise AWS engineering and DevOps delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS Landing Zone architecture using Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and Transit Gateway.
• Author and maintain IaC modules using CloudFormation under a GitOps model.
• Architect, design, and validate scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native architectures.
• Design disaster recovery for an IaaS cloud platform.
• Mentor teams and provide technical leadership across projects.
