Job summary

ABACUS is seeking a Cloud Architect to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead multi-cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP, collaborating with clients and engineering teams to implement robust infrastructure and governance.

You will mentor others, drive IaC adoption with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and focus on security, cost optimization, and performance at scale in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud engineering and architecture.
• Proven track record designing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Senior cloud certifications across multiple platforms.
• Experience leading architecture for major clients.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures tailored to client business requirements.
• Design and implement cloud solutions across public cloud and hybrid environments.
• Serve as a cloud services subject matter expert for clients and internal engineering teams.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate cloud architecture recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop cloud architecture designs addressing performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Apply cloud security best practices to infrastructure and solution designs.
• Design cloud infrastructure with monitoring, management, and operational requirements in mind.
• Estimate and help manage cloud consumption and costs.
• Conduct cloud assessments and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, documentation, and guidance.
• Support cloud migration initiatives and workload migrations to public cloud.
• Translate designs into secure and maintainable implementations.
• Support infrastructure automation using Terraform and other IaC tools
