Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Application Developer to design and deliver robust cloud applications and serverless systems across AWS and Azure.

You will focus on backend development, AI/ML integration, and deploying cloud-native components including Lambda functions, cloud databases, and content delivery systems. The role emphasizes hybrid cloud architectures, securing IAM and API gateways, and implementing intelligent workflows with Connect and CloudFront.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud development experience (AWS preferred; Azure beneficial).
• Proven track record with AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
• Experience implementing generative AI models via Bedrock or SageMaker.
• Experience using Amazon Connect and CloudFront configurations.
• Strong understanding of cloud identity management (IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, SQL, or scalable backend languages.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or Safe) development.

The client requires the services of a Senior Cloud Application Developer that will help us build robust, scalable cloud applications and serverless systems across AWS and Azure. This role focuses on backend development, AI/ML integration, and deploying cloud-native components including Lambda functions, cloud databases, smart communication workflows, and content delivery systems. The key responsibilities for this position will include the following:

• Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
