Job summary

Verra Mobility seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to collaborate with Architecture and Engineering in deploying and operating cloud and on-premises solutions. The role emphasizes Azure-based deployments, hyperconverged infrastructure, automation, and secure, monitored services across environments.

The teammate will support Windows and Linux systems, lead incident management, and contribute to a global follow-the-sun support model with after-hours involvement as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in on-premise datacenter environments, private/public cloud, SAN, and networking.
• BS in Computer Science or related experience; relevant cloud/datacenter certifications preferred.
• Strong collaboration, self-direction, and initiative to propose and troubleshoot solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement on premise, private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions, mainly in Azure.
• Manage hyperconverged platforms like Cisco UCS, VxRail, and VMware.
• Develop automation scripts and frameworks; support high availability and DR plans.
• Lead incident management and participate in a follow-the-sun support model.
