Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Cloud & AI FinOps Analyst to scale FinOps as a service for internal stakeholders. This role blends multi-cloud FinOps with advanced analytics and product ownership of an expanding AI asset portfolio.

As generative AI tools become embedded in engineering and corporate workflows, you will enhance FinOps culture through transparency, self-service capabilities, and automation across AWS, Azure, GCP, and AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or FinOps Analyst, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and shipping stakeholder-facing capabilities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with data-driven conclusions.
• Hands-on experience building/dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, Turbonomic, or equivalent tool.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud billing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS/AI pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the FinOps Product Owner for multi-cloud and AI spend dashboards, data reporting, and self-service enablement.
• Maintain a FinOps services portal as the entry point for cloud/AI services and optimization guidelines.
• Evolve the FinOps as a service operating model with roadmaps and backlog prioritization.
• Lead a FinOps Champion Network across engineering, finance, and product teams.
• Drive governance, showback/chargeback adoption, KPI standardization, and tagging practices.
• Build and iterate dashboards/reports in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, and Turbonomic.
• Establish usage tracking, license analytics, and token consumption metrics for AI apps.
• Develop analyses for spend anomalies and cost drivers and translate to executive summaries.
• Define reporting standards and allocation logic to attribute costs to cost centers.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and productize repeatable automated processes.
• Support forecasting and vendor agreements to manage cloud and AI spend.
