Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Brockton Comprehensive Treatment Center is hiring a Substance Use Counselor for full-time, on-site work in Brockton, MA. You will conduct individual and group counseling, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients with Opioid Use Disorder, while coordinating with referrals and insurers.

The role includes crisis intervention, documentation, and potential supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Initial patient assessments and development of individual treatment plans.
• Conducts individual sessions and group sessions with patients.
• Crisis intervention and aftercare coordination as needed.
• Liaises with referral sources and insurance carriers.
• Maintains timely, clear documentation of patient care and incidents.
• May assist in training new staff and interns; may lead team activities.

• Ensures all documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents are completed timely and in a clear, concise manner and within policy guidelines.
• May assist in the training of new clinical staff and interns; may serve as lead for the team coordinating activities.

Your Job as a Substance Use Counselor/Counselor Lead:

The Substance Use Counselor Lead is a counseling professional who is instrumental in providing treatment and support to assist patients in their recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Substance Use Counselors provide high quality, compassionate care through various mediums which include individual and group counseling sessions, modify problem behaviors, and may also provide counseling services to families of patient’s through an outpatient setting.

Compensation for roles at Brockton CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Brockton CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.Role Location: Massachusetts

Calculated Salary Range for therole: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour
