Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of clinical research experience with possible variations of education
• Experience with clinical trials or research projects and supervising staff
• Credentialing under Emory Healthcare for Clinical Researcher role is required

Responsibilities

• Manages significant aspects of large clinical trials or multiple small trials
• Trains and guides less experienced staff
• Oversees data management for research projects
• Interfaces with participants and resolves study protocol issues
• Authorizes purchases for supplies and equipment maintenance
• Promotes and retains participants in long-term trials
• Audits operations for regulatory compliance and drives corrective actions
• Monitors IRB submissions and responds to inquiries
• Interacts with study sponsors and monitors SAEs
• Supports policy/process improvements and grant protocol development
• May perform phlebotomy, specimen collection or diagnostics as credentialed
• May perform supervisory duties
