Job summary

The position requires strong regulatory knowledge, ability to coordinate with sponsors and IRBs, and may include phlebotomy responsibilities. A relevant degree and hands-on clinical research experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Clinical research experience required, with relevant credentialing considered.
• Advanced degrees or CRA/CRC certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating multi-site clinical trials and data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage significant aspects of clinical trials or multiple small trials.
• Train and guide less experienced staff.
• Oversee data management for research projects.
• Interface with participants and resolve protocol issues.
• Authorize purchases for supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Promote/recruit research participants and retain them long-term.
• Audit operations for regulatory compliance and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor IRB submissions and respond to requests.
• Interface with sponsors, monitors and report SAEs.
• Contribute to policy/process improvements.
• Assist in developing grant proposals and protocols.
• May perform phlebotomy or specimen collection with credentialing.
• May perform supervisory duties.
• Perform related approved responsibilities.
