Pittsburgh Tomorrow seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our research team on campus in Pittsburgh. You will conduct complex assessments, coordinate IRB processes, mentor staff, and manage study data across multiple databases.

The role requires strong data handling, communication with investigators, and ability to work with lab equipment. Responsibilities include subject enrollment, scheduling, education, and ensuring protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to navigate UPMC and Pitt campuses; perform data entry and handle lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex research assessments on study participants including fibroscans, EKGs, phlebotomy and sample processing.
• Mentor new staff and coordinate with PI on IRB renewals, modifications and new studies.
• Consents participants for observational studies and maintains study inventories and budgets.
• Submit data to protocols, set up databases, and work with multiple databases.
• Coordinate external site visits and communicate with investigators and sponsors.
• Prepare and ship/store samples and ensure proper lab storage and processing.
• Maintain IATA certification and on-campus duties as assigned.
• Meet with external staff for sponsored studies and manage IRB submissions.
