Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC Chapel Hill) is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for the Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease (CGIBD). The role leads complex trials, manages startup activities, IRB submissions, and sponsor communications, while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory documents, ensuring GCP compliance, and collaborating with investigators, IRBs, CTRC, IDS, and sponsors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 1 year of related training or experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Experience with IRB submissions, FDA CFR, ICH GCP, and clinical trial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex industry-sponsored trials and site activation.
• Lead startup activities, regulatory submissions, and sponsor communications.
• Mentor junior coordinators and ensure compliance with GCP.
• Maintain study documents and data management across sites.
