Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA) to lead site management and monitoring during pivotal clinical trials. The role emphasizes autonomy, regulatory compliance, and data integrity across multiple sites in the Minnesota region.

You will train site staff, manage data queries, collaborate with study teams and CROs, and mentor junior members while contributing to study strategy and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or related field and relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with clinical data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site qualification, initiation, interim and close-out visits and gather essential documents from sites.
• Serve as primary site liaison, addressing protocol or study-related issues with study management and CROs.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and regulatory standards across sites and address compliance gaps.
• Review and analyze trial data for accuracy; manage data queries and support data cleaning efforts.
• Conduct site monitoring visits to ensure procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Manage product safety processes, including adverse events and relationship with safety teams.
• Draft study materials and coordinate with committees, vendors, and core labs.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in process improvements and SOP updates.
