University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a Clinical Psychologist – Whole Person Pain Service. The Senior Instructor will deliver behavioral health services to chronic pain patients, including virtual visits and interprofessional collaboration with primary care.

The role is 0.60 FTE with potential for up to 0.4 FTE additional in-person duties. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in psychology and pursue Colorado licensure; teaching and program development are

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and Colorado licensure eligibility.
• Completion of an accredited postdoctoral program with sufficient clinical hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing through CU Health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and direct patient care within WPPS.
• Develop and evaluate behavioral health and pain psychology services for primary care patients with chronic pain.
• Collaborate on guidelines, workflows, and delivery models for integrated chronic pain care.
• Involvement in program growth, sustainability planning, and workforce development for WPPS behavioral health services.
• Contribute to quality improvement, outcomes evaluation, and access metrics.
• Support teaching, supervision, and mentorship of learners and faculty.
• Ensure BH clinician compliance with policies and participate in WPPS meetings.
• Assist in WPPS staff or clinician hiring selections if needed.
