Job summary

Pfizer, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Pharmacist to manage the setup of clinical studies, drug accountability, and preparation of investigational products under GCP for NCEs and biologics.

The role includes risk assessment, regulatory adherence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, CT license, and at least 2 years of pharmacy practice plus 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Current Connecticut pharmacy license; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy practice principles and drug product formulation and development.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and build collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Leads pharmacy projects for preparation of sterile and non-sterile investigational drugs.
• Supports development and regulation of compounding and dose delivery workflows.
• Ensures compliance with FDA, DEA, USP, and other regulatory bodies.
• Provides after-hours support on a rotating schedule.
• Supports aseptic gowning and safety protocols in clinical settings.
