Job summary

Memorial Hospital West is seeking a Level II Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform, evaluate, and report technical lab procedures on patient specimens for diagnosis and treatment. The role emphasizes quality control, regulatory compliance, and timely result reporting.

The incumbent will follow procedures, serve as Charge Technologist, and mentor staff in a hospital lab environment with emphasis on hematology and chemistry. Bachelor's degree and Florida licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor's degree required; Florida licensure in the area of responsibility.
• Florida licensure as a Technologist or Supervisor in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures for quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as Charge Technologist and resource to staff.
• Report test results timely per laboratory protocols.
• Plan and manage workload and resources efficiently.
• May instruct and observe student technologists.
