Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Dietitian Leader to oversee clinical dietitians and advance nutrition care across multiple sites. You will lead education, performance management, and program implementation within Food and Nutrition Services.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, and collaboration with hospital leadership to align with Trinity Health initiatives and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Active status as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed where states mandate.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and advanced certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work with physicians, patients, families, and staff; English proficiency.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and experience interfacing with inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical dietitians and manages administrative duties across multiple sites.
• Delivers medical nutrition therapy per the Nutrition Care Process.
• Educates patients, families, and staff; participates in rounds and committees.
• Leads staff scheduling, payroll review, and competency tracking.
• Coordinates intern schedules and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives and participates in research as appropriate.
