Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Clinical Development Senior Medical Director for the GU portfolio. This individual contributor will support clinical trials and lead sub teams in development, with emphasis on health authority interactions and leadership in cross-functional settings.

Requirements include an MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB with 4+ years in biopharma clinical R&D; oncology subspecialty preferred. The role offers a generous base salary with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits in the United States.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB and 4+ years in biopharma clinical R&D.
• Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for ≥2 years post internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical development leadership on study teams and subteams.
• Conduct medical monitoring: eligibility, data review, safety.
• Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
• Serve as liaison for clinical issues among study team, investigators, ethics committees and regulators.
• Develop and maintain clinical trial and regulatory documents with cross-functional teams.
• Provide cross-study clinical development leadership across multiple study teams.
• Lead Clinical Development on subteams including MAAs.
• Offer strategic guidance, clinical insights & interpretation from data.
• Collaborate with Global Development to refine strategies.
• Represent Pfizer in external engagements or joint collaborations.
• Stay current with literature and guidelines to guide development plans.
