Texas Oncology in Plano East is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time role supports patient care across the Plano East location, with hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The RN provides professional nursing care, adheres to standards, participates in quality initiatives, and collaborates with the care team to deliver high-touch cancer care across the community.

Qualifications

• RN license and active state registration required.
• BSN degree preferred; oncology-specific training is a plus.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain competency.
• Oncology experience 0-3 years preferred; senior roles require more.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient and reviewing medical history.
• Provide teaching and instructional materials to patients and families.
• Offer psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Coordinate appointments, tests, referrals and follow-ups.
