Job summary

CEA Consulting in San Francisco seeks a Senior Associate to support climate-related engagements, including grantmaking strategy, funder collaboratives, and NGO programing. The role interfaces with foundations, family offices, NGOs, and government partners, managing day-to-day consulting work.

You bring five+ years in consulting or philanthropy, strong writing and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five+ years’ work experience; advanced degree a plus.
• Experience in philanthropy and grantmaking; leading projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills across audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing remote and hybrid teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engagement manager for projects, client contact and budgets.
• Lead climate-related projects and grantmaking analyses.
• Manage teams across multiple clients and assignments.
• Co-design and execute research, hypotheses testing, and deliverables.
• Support business development and proposals.
• Promote diversity, equity, inclusion in the organization.
