Job summary

gTANGIBLE Corporation in San Antonio, TX seeks a Senior Client/Server Network Architect to design and implement a scalable client/server environment. You will define the strategy, advise on technology purchases, and set standards for database structures such as SQL, Oracle, and Sybase.

The role requires top secret/S SCI eligibility or clearance consent for polygraph, and a background in DoD-style network architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7–9 years of related experience or an Associates with 9–11 years, or 11–13 years without a degree.
• DoD Directive 8570.01-M IA Tech Level 2 within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to solve complex problems with many variables.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation across multiple environments.
• Address complex problems related to installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Interface with customers, vendors and staff to analyze requirements.
• Document engineering standards and lead in network architecture design changes.
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies and recommend to Chief Engineer.
• Perform network modeling, analysis and planning.
