Adquadrant helps consumer brands grow profitably by unifying media, creative, and measurement, all powered by AI. Our model is built on a simple idea: marketing should be managed like growth capital. We focus on contribution margin, not vanity metrics, and design strategies where technology and human expertise work side by side.
Our strongest alliances are with Google, Meta, and TikTok, where we collaborate directly on AI, measurement, and commerce innovation to give our clients first-mover advantage. We are also one of five U.S. agencies dual-badged at TikTok, both as a Marketing Partner and a TikTok Shop Partner, giving our clients access to programs and capabilities before they reach the broader market. We maintain active partnerships with Snap, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms, ensuring the brands we work with benefit from priority support, exclusive insights, and opportunities their competitors don't see.
About the Role
As a Senior Client Partner, you are more than a strategic account lead, you are the fractional CMO and e-commerce growth architect for your portfolio of clients. You own the relationship at the highest level, aligning their full e-commerce operation and marketing investment, across DTC, marketplace, and social commerce, to their business objectives, ensuring every dollar spent drives profitable, scalable growth.
You'll operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, technology, and execution, partnering closely with media, creative, analytics, and e-commerce teams to deliver full-funnel, omnichannel strategies that perform. You will be expected to deeply understand your clients' businesses better than they do: from their Shopify storefront, Amazon marketplace presence, and TikTok Shop to unit economics, contribution margin, customer lifetime value, and cash flow. TikTok Shop and social commerce are a meaningful part of this portfolio, so real fluency in creator dynamics, affiliate mechanics, and shoppable video is expected alongside your broader DTC and marketplace expertise, not treated as a separate specialty.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fractional CMO & Ecommerce Growth Partner
- Act as the fractional CMO and ecommerce growth strategist for your clients, deeply understanding their full P&L, unit economics, pricing architecture, merchandising strategy, product margins, and growth goals to align all marketing and commerce activity with business outcomes.
- Develop full-funnel, omnichannel growth strategies across paid social, paid search, email, SMS, influencer, affiliate, retail media, TikTok Shop, and emerging social commerce platforms.
- Build proformas, forecasts, and contribution margin models, including GMV scenarios for social commerce channels, that guide decision-making, manage risk, and measure success across the entire ecommerce operation.
- Identify and capitalize on data-driven opportunities to increase revenue, AOV, LTV, and repeat purchase rate, upselling services in alignment with client growth objectives.
- Guide clients on ecommerce business strategy: subscription and DTC model optimization, marketplace expansion (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop), and channel diversification.
2. End-to-End Ecommerce Mastery
- Own the ecommerce growth roadmap, from site experience and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to checkout flow, product page strategy, and post-purchase retention.
- Drive customer lifecycle marketing strategy: acquisition, onboarding, retention, win-back, and loyalty, spanning email, SMS, push, and owned channels.
- Advise on ecommerce merchandising: product catalog structure, pricing strategy, promotional calendars, bundle and upsell tactics, and inventory-aware marketing planning.
- Integrate retail media and marketplace advertising (Amazon DSP, Sponsored Products, Walmart Connect) into holistic growth strategies alongside paid social, search, and social commerce.
- Monitor and optimize key ecommerce health metrics: CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC ratio, AOV, repeat purchase rate, churn, ROAS, MER, and contribution margin by channel.
- Serve as a credible strategic voice on TikTok Shop mechanics, including creator ecosystem dynamics, merchandising, offer strategy, affiliate incentives, storefront optimization, buyer psychology, and live shopping.
- Partner with affiliate and creator teams to recruit, activate, and scale creators and affiliates aligned to margin, product economics, and performance goals.
- Design incentive structures, seeding programs, and offer strategies that drive velocity and lifecycle performance on Shop.
- Translate TikTok Shop category dynamics, shopper behaviors, and platform levers into actionable strategies that support brand growth from cold start to maturity, and connect those learnings back to broader DTC and marketplace performance.
- Leverage AI-powered tools, measurement platforms, media mix modeling, predictive analytics, and creative automation, to drive efficiency and unlock growth.
- Identify and implement AI opportunities across creative production, media buying, personalization, and reporting, making Adquadrant and your clients first-movers in the space.
- Use ecommerce analytics platforms (Northbeam, Triple Whale, GA4, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Amazon Brand Analytics) to build a complete picture of the customer journey and optimize at every stage.
- Design and oversee incrementality testing frameworks (geo-testing, lift studies, holdouts) to determine the true marginal impact of marketing spend across channels, including social commerce.
- Master Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Media Mix Modeling (MMM), using these tools to advise clients on budget allocation that prioritizes incremental contribution margin over platform-reported ROAS.
- Lead weekly strategy calls and quarterly business reviews that go beyond reporting, challenging assumptions, presenting clear recommendations, and tying every insight back to ecommerce profitability.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively present solutions that drive growth, rather than waiting for a brief.
- Foster long-term partnerships built on a deep understanding of each client's ecommerce landscape, competitive position, and growth potential.
- Advocate for both team and client success, celebrating achievements and providing the essential support and tools to win.
6. Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Partner closely with internal media, creative, analytics, ecommerce, and shop operations teams to align execution with strategy and financial targets.
- Serve as the critical internal-external liaison, ensuring internal strategies map to client needs and deliver exceptional service and mutual success.
- Coordinate merchandising, promotional, and product launch moments across internal and external teams, including TikTok Shop campaign moments.
- Support the Business Development team with auditing prospective new clients.
- Ensure deliverables are not just on time, but strategically sound, ecommerce-native, and revenue-accretive.
7. Thought Leadership & Industry Insight
- Stay ahead of ecommerce trends, AI innovation, platform changes (including TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Meta), and commerce technology, translating them into actionable strategies clients can act on first.
- Mentor junior team members, transferring ecommerce expertise and strengthening Adquadrant's overall client partnership and commerce capabilities.
