Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum four years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant information systems security position.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must possess a DoD SECRET security clearance at hire and be able to obtain SCI access.
  • Must possess DoD 8140 Baseline IAT Level III certification or obtain it.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ISSM to ensure JWICS, SIPRNet, and classified enclaves meet IC/DoD/University/customer requirements.
  • Lead networking and security administration of classified infrastructure, including domain controllers, SANs, and Active Directory GPOs.
  • Administer security tools (HBSS, ESS, ACAS, STIGs) and interface with the CSSP.
  • Serve as the primary systems administrator for testing, packaging, and deploying security updates across enterprise environments.
  • Maintain CMRS records and enforce user compliance.
  • Establish, operate, and maintain accredited classified processing environments.
  • Ensure lifecycle protection of JWICS, SIPRNet, and other systems; perform weekly checks and inspections.
  • Air-gapped system administration for Windows and RHEL; deploy patches and backups.
  • Coordinate SSPs with ISSM and CSSO; align with personnel/physical/industrial security.
  • Implement Configuration Management for security hardware/software per requirements.
  • Coordinate C&A documentation with ISSM; support DoD/IC/DCSA programs.
  • Develop and deliver security education and awareness training.
  • Conduct periodic self-inspections; integrate IT policies with security protocols.
  • Perform risk analyses and monitor logs; participate in Insider Threat Program.
