Jonus Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior General Liability Claims Representative - Property Damage to join its team. This role focuses on managing general liability property damage claims under business owner policies, analyzing coverage issues, and collaborating with attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years of GL claims adjusting (or 10+ years with equivalent experience).
• Preferred CPCU or other industry designations.
• Experience in litigated liability property damage/construction defects claims.
• State adjuster licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active desk of general liability property damage claims under business owner policies.
• Analyze coverage issues under various standard industry forms, including Business Owners, Excess and Umbrella, Garagekeepers, Hired/Non-Owned Auto, and Auto Services.
• Investigate, evaluate, and position claims under applicable coverage.
• Handle litigated claims and collaborate with defense counsel to strategize effectively.
• Set reserves at appropriate levels and manage allocated loss adjustment expenses (ALAE).
• Draft coverage letters and maintain proper documentation in claim files.
• Respond promptly to inquiries with a sense of urgency.
• Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required.

Job Summary

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

• Experience in litigated liability property damage/construction defects claims is essential.
• State adjuster license(s) required.
