Pelican Energy Consultants in Covington, LA is seeking a mid-senior civil/structural engineer to lead design on energy infrastructure projects across the nation. This role focuses on structural steel and concrete design per ASCE 7, coordinating with multi-discipline teams and delivering complete design content.

You will guide a civil/design team, develop site criteria, evaluate geotechnical inputs, and prepare specs and scopes to meet client needs while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; ABET accredited program required.
• PE license required.
• 5-7+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead civil/structural design for energy infrastructure projects.
• Perform detailed design calculations for pipe racks, supports, and foundations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Prepare design specifications and procurement packages.
• Interface with clients to ensure project goals are met.
